We are Leigh and Jenelle, the husband-and-wife team behind Level Design Studio, an architecture and interior design firm based in Wisconsin. After years of honing our skills at large commercial architecture firms in Chicago and Madison, we both felt a strong pull to explore residential design. To gain this experience, Leigh joined a small residential design-build firm, while Jenelle established her own residential interior design studio, Jenelle Allen Interior Design (JAID). As we continued to grow in our respective fields, we recognized the opportunity to unite our talents and create something truly special. This shared vision led to the founding of Level Design Studio—a boutique studio where we passionately bring residential and small commercial projects to life.

For us, design is the art of bringing diverse ideas together into a cohesive whole. Although our process might seem linear, the journey to the final design is anything but straightforward. It’s an iterative and creative endeavor that evolves naturally, allowing the design to unfold at its own pace.
