For this project, we collaborated closely with the client to revamp a second-floor bathroom in a 1930s home in Madison, WI. The homeowner, a longtime resident, aimed to update the bathroom while honoring the home's original charm.

Our goal was to blend modern comforts with the home's existing 1930s architecture. We achieved this by selecting a timeless color palette, classic tile patterns, and a harmonious mix of polished nickel and brass metals—a homage to the historic era. A standout feature is the custom walnut vanity, designed to offer both the functionality the client desired and a style that complements the home's original craftsmanship.

Working within older homes presents unique challenges, such as maneuvering around existing structures and a typically tighter footprint. However, it's always an enjoyable puzzle to solve together. This project is a testament to the strength of a good team, from the client's vision to the exceptional construction team that brought the design to life.
